Winter Pruning In The Community Apple Orchard in North Portland

Here are some pictures, before and after pruning one of the trees today. The orchard is in need of attention, and we hope that once we are finished that the crop will be a good one? We hope to continue to nurse these apple trees back into shape so we can all enjoy it’s fruit. I am going to apply on our behalf, and see if we can dry farm a section of this land until it gets turned into a soccer field? Who know the city could always change their mind?
