Bringing communities together, by teaching and practicing sustainable gardening using natural and organic methods, and always donating a part of every harvest to food banks, pantries, and directly to the people in need.

We are committed to growing food naturally, and getting that food to the less fortunate. We also love teaching people how to be sustainable by helping them set up small spaces to grow their own vegetables. Giving Vegetable Gardens Charity can help with seed, starts and materials (when available) for building and starting your own vegetable garden here in the Portland Oregon area, go to our website http://www.givingvegetablegardenscharity.org or to our Face Book site and let us know if that’s something you would like to have? sometimes we ask for a donation to help with costs, but not always. We would like to make sure that everyone has access to healthy food one garden at a time! Join us to help others by getting involved with us at one of our gardens here in Portland and Beaverton Oregon, there’s never enough food, and many hands make light work! Cheers

Get a hold of us here or on Face Book and we will help you every step of the way, and if we have the materials on hand we will install a 4 x 4 bed for you complete with veggies and teach you how to be a sustainable gardener!

  1. We here at Giving Veggies want to help with all the different components of creating, and maintaining a sustainable garden. If you would like to give it a try, let us know, and we can put a plan together for you, and install a 4 ft. x 4 ft. raised bed, complete with veggie starts or seeded depending on the season, but believe me you can be growing and harvesting fresh vegetables and greens year around ! We will show you how !

  2. Hello my name is William Patch. I live in Fort Wayne Indiana and I have a charity garden that I have been running for 5 years now. We are looking for seed donations this year because the majority of the seeds that we have are starting to get to old and are starting to fail. The seeds that we have were donated to us 3 seasons ago. I have plenty of squash, cabbage, melon, and pumpkin seeds that are still good. I could use anything else that anyone would be willing to part with. Our garden is 30×90 so I can use plenty.
